Old Crack Big Band (OC) was founded and formed in late 2002 in Jakarta by Indonesian Air Force Air Marshall Ian Santoso (Leader/Advisor/Part-Time Vocal), which in its earliest form, the band itself consisted only of well-experienced big-time musicians that the capital city ever produced for years. Since its establishment and many shows later, the relationship has grown and preserved as many other musicians come and go, it has becoming more and more as a Big Band; thus, the name Old Crack Big Band.

When it comes to the musical genre, OC has adapted the vocal characters of its many vocalists that comes from many different musical backgrounds, which create its unique and yet consistent sounds of rock and roll, folks, and new age.

Along with the development of the musical industry in terms of genres and sounds, OC has also created somewhat many different combinations of the American folks/country/rock songs that not too many bands in the nation has adopted, which includes songs by the famous Beth Hart, Bruce Springsteen’s American Way, and the New Age musical wave of Peter Gabriel. Those influences are what make OC special in terms of its Live Shows, which mostly are big private viewings and special events on TV.

After many live shows performed, OC has received many excellent reviews by big name local musicians and also music lovers in general. OC’s latest big shows include the shows at the Hard Rock Cafe Jakarta, The Airmen at The Sultan Hotel, and Motor Sport Asia’s Event at Sentul Circuit Jakarta, all as Headliners of the show.
