The humble Idang Rasjidi,  that's what he’s known for among the Asian press. His name is synonmous in both the local Jazz scene and international. He plays in many International Jazz Festivals and have work together with numerous world musicians such as Bob Jamez, Nathan East, Michael Collina, Phil Perry, Lewis Pragasam, Steve Thornton, and Azmi to name a few. Idang have a distinctive musical sound and he is greatly inspired by Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillesspie, Ahmad Jamal, Joe Zawinul, dan Thelenious Monk. Every year he comes out with new music with a strong rhythm and unique sound.
